Adult Dosing
- dose 250-300 mL over 15-30 minutes
- repeat as needed based on clinical response

Indications
- acute blood loss
- surgical blood loss
- perioperative blood volume expansion
Mechanism of Action
- increases blood oxygen delivery
- expands intravascular volume
- maintains blood pressure
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to hemoglobin-based products
- severe autoimmune hemolytic anemia

Drug Interactions
