Forms & Strengths

film-coated tablets: 10mg

Adult Dosing

10mg once daily, with or without food
dose adjustments for hepatic impairment: 5mg once daily

Pediatric Dosing

safety and efficacy not established in patients under 18 years

Indications

primary hypercholesterolemia
heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia
hoFH in combination with other lipid-lowering therapies

Mechanism of Action

inhibition of ACLY, blocking cholesterol biosynthesis in the liver

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to lerodalcibep or any component of the formulation
severe hepatic impairment

Adverse Reactions

elevated liver enzymes
nausea
diarrhea
abdominal pain
fatigue
myalgia

Drug Interactions

increased risk of myopathy with statins
decreased efficacy with bile acid sequestrants
potential interaction with warfarin, requiring monitoring of INR
