Adult Dosing

apply topically 2-3 times daily
use for up to 7 days

Pediatric Dosing

apply topically 2-3 times daily for children over 2 years old
consult doctor for children under 2 years old

Indications

treatment and prevention of minor cuts and scrapes
treatment of minor burns

Mechanism of Action

antibacterial properties
inhibiting growth of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria

Contraindications

allergy to decamethoxine
allergy to other quinoline derivatives

Adverse Reactions

skin irritation
allergic contact dermatitis

Drug Interactions

may interact with silver-based dressings
do not use with other antibacterial agents
