Adult Dosing
- 2.5mg/day for contraception
- 1.625mg/0.025mg tablets once daily for menopausal symptoms
Pediatric Dosing
- Not intended for use in children
- Safety and efficacy in pediatric populations not established
Indications
- Hormonal contraception
- Treatment of menopausal symptoms
- Endometriosis treatment
Mechanism of Action
- Progesterone receptor agonist
- Inhibits ovulation
- Thickens cervical mucus to prevent sperm entry
- Supports endometrium growth
Contraindications
- Known or suspected breast cancer
- Active liver disease
- Undiagnosed abnormal vaginal bleeding
- Hypersensitivity to nomegestrol

Drug Interactions
- Increased risk of thromboembolism with smoking
- Decreased efficacy with anticonvulsants
