Forms & Strengths
- Injection: 10 mg/mL
- Single-dose vial
Adult Dosing
- Recommended dose: 10 mg/kg IV on Day 1, Day 3, and Day 5
- Administer over 30 minutes to 1 hour
Pediatric Dosing
- No established dosage for pediatric patients
- Safety and efficacy not established in patients under 18 years
Indications
- Treatment of metastatic melanoma
- Adjuvant treatment of cutaneous melanoma
Mechanism of Action
- Stimulates immune response against cancer cells
- Binds to gp100 antigen on melanoma cells
- Induces cytotoxic T cell response
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to dasiprotimut-T or any component
- Severe autoimmune disease
Adverse Reactions
- Rash
- Fatigue
- Pruritus
- Fever
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
Drug Interactions
- Concomitant immunosuppressants may decrease efficacy
- Caution with live vaccines
