Forms & Strengths
- Tablets: 60mg, 80mg, 120mg, 180mg
- Capsules: 60mg, 120mg

Adult Dosing
- Osteoarthritis: 60mg to 120mg three times a day
- Rheumatoid arthritis: 120mg to 240mg per day in 2-3 divided doses
- Low back pain: 60mg to 120mg three times a day
- Dysmenorrhea: 60mg to 120mg three times a day
Pediatric Dosing
- Not recommended for children under 15 years old
- Limited data in children, use with caution and adjust dose according to weight
Indications
- Relief of osteoarthritis symptoms
- Relief of rheumatoid arthritis symptoms
- Low back pain management
- Treatment of primary dysmenorrhea
- Relief of pain and inflammation in other musculoskeletal disorders
Mechanism of Action
- Selective inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes
- Blocks conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins
- Reduces pain, inflammation, and fever
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to loxoprofen or other NSAIDs
- Active peptic ulcer disease
- Severe liver or kidney dysfunction
- Pregnancy (third trimester) and lactation
Adverse Reactions
- Gastrointestinal: abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia
- Central nervous system: headache, dizziness
- Skin: rash, itching, urticaria
- Hematologic: anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia
- Cardiovascular: edema, increased blood pressure
Drug Interactions
- Increased risk of bleeding with warfarin and other anticoagulants
- Reduced diuretic and antihypertensive effect with diuretics and beta-blockers
- Increased risk of nephrotoxicity with cyclosporine and aminoglycosides
- Potential interaction with lithium, digoxin, and ACE inhibitors
