Adult Dosing

Indications
- Treatment of seizures associated with Dravet syndrome
- Treatment of seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome
Mechanism of Action
- Selective agonist of the serotonin 5-HT2C receptor
- Modulates signaling pathways to reduce seizure frequency
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to fenfluramine or its components
- History of valve problems or pulmonary hypertension
Adverse Reactions
- Decreased appetite
- Somnolence
- Fatigue
- Upper respiratory tract infection
- Nasopharyngitis
Drug Interactions
- Concomitant use with MAOIs may increase risk of serotonin syndrome
- Monitor for potential interactions with CNS depressants
