Kit for the preparation of Indium In 111 Imciromab injection
Diagnostic radiopharmaceutical vial containing lyophilized imciromab pentetate

Adult Dosing

Diagnostic imaging: Single intravenous administration of 0.5 mg imciromab pentetate labeled with approximately 185 MBq (5 mCi) of Indium-111
Imaging typically performed 24 to 48 hours following administration

Pediatric Dosing

Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established
Use in children is generally not recommended unless specific clinical diagnostic benefits outweigh potential risks

Indications

Scintigraphic imaging of myocardial infarction
Evaluation of the extent and location of recent myocardial infarction in patients with suspected or established infarction

Mechanism of Action

Murine monoclonal antibody (IgG2a) directed against cardiac myosin
Binds to exposed intracellular cardiac myosin in necrotic myocardial cells following sarcolemmal disruption
Allows gamma camera scintigraphy visualization of acute myocardial necrosis using the attached Indium-111 radioisotope

Contraindications

Known hypersensitivity to murine proteins or any component of the formulation
Pregnancy and lactation

Adverse Reactions

Mild and transient transient hypotension
Fever, chills, or nausea
Allergic reactions including rash, urticaria, or anaphylactoid responses
Development of human anti-mouse antibodies (HAMA)

Drug Interactions

No formal drug-drug interaction studies performed
Concurrent administration of other murine monoclonal antibodies may increase the risk of hypersensitivity reactions or alter clearance
Prior administration of murine antibodies may induce HAMA response, potentially causing rapid clearance or allergic reactions
